Central Highlands Rural Health is a Victorian State Government owned not-for-profit organisation that manages Creswick Nursing Home, which is situated in the rural township of Creswick.
A small home of only 30 beds, we have recently refurbished single rooms with ensuites for permanent and respite care. The rooms are 9 square metres in size.
The home is co-located with Creswick Hospital and there is 24-hour nursing and medical cover and access to many specialist services. There are no restrictions on visiting hours and car parking is free. Creswick Health has the Rainbow Tick accreditation.
Common areas description
There are multipurpose lounges and dining areas differing in sizes suitable for a small private gathering or a large get-together with family and friends. The main living and dining area has a gas log fire and communal stereo, TV/DVD player. We also have two courtyard gardens and a veranda BBQ area all perfect for enjoying the outdoors and sunshine as well as a library area perfect for a quiet read and small sitting nooks to relax and enjoy the garden views.
There is an active lifestyle program and residents are encouraged and supported to maintain their social links with their friends, family and community.

The amount you pay towards the costs of your room depends on your on your income and means assessment. If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Explanation of payment options
Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.
