Sustainability relates to our capacity to operate now and into the future as a viable entity through sound and effective management of our resources and infrastructure. It also relates to our role as environmental stewards and the impact our business has on the natural environment.
A key component of Central Highlands Rural Health’s sustainability lies with our capacity to effectively manage existing resources and attract new. Aged care plays an important role in this, in what is a rapidly evolving environment. We are working harder to get the most from available resources in the aged care sector. Our infrastructure is another major consideration of sustainability which involves efficiently managing existing assets and developing new ones.
Our commitment to reduce our impact on the natural environment continues to be a high priority. We have found innovative ways to reduce and recycle and have pledged to extend our efforts to further reduce our environmental footprint.
We regularly monitor our energy and other resource consumption for changes and trends.
