The Central Highlands Rural Health Board of Directors is appointed by the Minister for Health, and has well defined responsibilities. The Board is accountable for our service performance. Board members do not participate in the day-to-day management of our health service. Their expertise is utilised to govern and provide oversight.
The Board develops strategies, oversees financial and service performance, responds and adapts to challenges and opportunities, and ensures that our organisation meets regulatory and government policy requirements and standards.
