Central Highlands Rural Health provides respite and permanent residential aged care. Our facilities are comfortable and safe and we promote the highest physical and mental function to optimise the residents quality of life.
Residents are located in Daylesford, Creswick and Trentham.
To find out more we’ve produced this comprehensive Handbook for residents.
We have a variety of engaging activities through our Lifestyle Program, including crafts, gardening, music, outings, games, discussions on current affairs, aromatherapy, massages, and special event days. We also welcome visits from community groups and cater to religious needs.
To make life easier for our residents, we provide personal services such as laundry (included in the fee), daily newspaper delivery, podiatry, prescription filling, and hairdressing.
We believe in fostering strong connections between residents and their loved ones, so we encourage relatives and friends to visit at any time. We have tea and coffee facilities available for everyone’s enjoyment.
When it comes to medical care, clients and their families have the freedom to choose their preferred medical practitioner. Our medical practitioners visit regularly, and in urgent situations, we will consult with the designated stand-in or contact the medical practitioner for immediate consultation. We can also arrange access to specialist services like physiotherapists, dietitians, dentists, optometrists, and audiologists through consultation with our nursing staff and medical practitioners, as needed.
