The Hepburn Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) brings together local community organisations and community members to prevent and minimise the harm caused by alcohol and drug use within the Hepburn Shire by responding to local data and need. Our LDAT comprises of local organisations including CHRH, Hepburn Shire Council, Daylesford College, Victoria Police and Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre.
The Hepburn LDAT sets out to improve a range of community based protective factors that reduce the risk of alcohol and drug use of residents living in Hepburn Shire. 5 key areas include:
· Quality of relationships
· Employment/ Meaningful activity
· Mental health
· Current attitudes to alcohol and other drugs use
· Availability of alcohol and other drugs
