Creswick Mens Friendship Shed

The Shed is a place where men connect, build friendships and contribute to community projects which are a part of fundraising activities for the wider community of Creswick and surrounding district. The Shed offers a space where men feel safe, welcome and is a place which embraces and supports those with a disability and those going through hardship.

The main activities offered at the Shed include woodwork, metal work and a large number of community projects ranging from picnic tables, bird boxes and signs.

The Shed is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm. All welcome.

The Shed is located on the corner of Bridge Street and Lake Park Drive, Creswick, next to the tennis courts.

Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed Easter Raffle

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for the Creswick Friendship Shed Easter Raffle. The Raffle raised $587. We really appreciate your support!

Details of prizes:

1st prize: Beautiful Victorian Style Doll’s House (value $700)
Includes beautifully made furniture – beds, bedspreads, tables, chairs, cupboards – making a wonderful addition to complete the Doll’s House. This intricate Doll’s house would be loved and treasured by all. Proudly put together by members of the Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed and local Craft Group.

 

2nd prize: Train Pot Plant Holder (value $150)
This impressive train can hold 3 pot plants and would be a fantastic piece for someone’s home. For the Easter Raffle, the train comes with Easter Eggs. Proudly made by members of the Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed.

 

3rd prize: Wooden Bird Box (value $50)
Suitable for small birds and ready to mount in the garden. Proudly made by members of the Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed.

 

 

4th prize: Wooden Bird Box (value $50)
Suitable for small birds and ready to mount in the garden. Proudly made by members of the Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed.

 

 

5th prize: Box of Easter Eggs (value $50)
Ready for your Easter treats!

 

 

All funds raised from the Easter Raffle will help the Shed purchase much needed new equipment to continue doing the great work which supports the local communities across Creswick and surrounding district.
