The Continence Service at Central Highlands Rural Health provides comprehensive in-home assessments and ongoing management of bladder, bowel, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Incontinence is the loss or partial loss of bladder of bowel control. Incontinence is not a disease; it is a symptom that can have many different causes. It is not a normal part of growing old. Identifying the underlying cause can help determine the most effective way to improve or cure the symptoms.

Continence assessments and support are available for people who are:
You will need to contact My Aged Care (1800 200 422) to register (if eligible) and request a Continence Assessment with Central Highlands Rural Health.
If you have a functional disability or a chronic illness and are under 65 years of age, you may be eligible for an assessment at a reduced cost (HACC PYP funding).
A GP referral is also required and can be emailed to agedcare@chrh.org.au
