Kate joined the Hepburn board in 2016. Her career has spanned various passions and causes from disability access to the environment.
Prior to her move in 2005 to Daylesford, Kate worked as a social worker in the area of child protection, and simultaneously raised two children. Kate has been a board member for Mackillop Family Services and The City of Melbourne, a director of State Trustees, The executive director of the Victorian Red Cross and The chairperson of the Melbourne Disability Advisory Committee, a Hepburn Shire councillor, and, more recently, the director of Hepburn Wind.
Kate’s also currently involved with an array of community groups – from sporting to environmental and busy adding a certificate in wool classing to her social work degree and MBA. Kate was granted a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the community of Victoria in 2013.
