Healthy Lunchboxes, Healthy Kids!

Published February 23, 2021

The Population Health Team have put together some terrific resources to support healthy kinder and school lunchboxes.

Having a healthy lunchbox during childhood helps to develop and sustain healthy habits throughout our life. It also supports children to behave well, learn better and be happy during the day.

The Healthy Lunchbox for Parents and Carers Booklet is a great place to start to support healthy choices and provides practical tips for adding extra nutrients and colour into children’s lunchboxes.

Healthy Lunchbox sessions are available to all early learning settings across the Hepburn Shire. These sessions compliment and support the Smiles 4 Miles Program and Achievement Program  For more information, please contact the Population Health team.
