Given half the chance, the staff at Creswick Aged Care never miss an opportunity to dress up.
This week, the lifestyle and nursing staff put on a terrifying performance in honour of Halloween. The event was organised by lifestyle coordinator, Heather (centre right).
In scary costumes and face masks, the staff did the Time Warp for the delighted residents, many of whom were dancing in their seats.
Nurse Unit Manager Debra (far right) looks forward to Halloween each year:
“The residents love to see our dancing - they have a lot of fun, enjoying the music and joining in with all the silly jokes. The staff all love it too and we try to come up with a reason to put on crazy clothes at least once a month!”
The festivities were topped off by an afternoon tea for residents and staff. What a fantastic way to celebrate the spookiest day of the year!
