Shannon's Bridge is a charity and volunteer run organisation based in Creswick which helps connect patients and existing palliative care services and support. The 'End of Life Care Hub' is an open and welcoming place for patients and their families to ask questions and be connected with existing services. The Shannon’s Bridge team have been working on a sensory garden for the rear of the hub and recently called for donations and support from the local community.
Step in the residents of Creswick Aged Care.
Kevin (pictured centre) has worked hard to make and sell birdhouses to staff and residents’ families. The money raised has been used to purchase wind chimes for the Shannon’s Bridge sensory garden. Belle (left), along with some other residents, designed and painted garden pavers during Creswick Aged Care’s weekly garden club. These garden pavers were presented to the Shannon’s Bridge volunteers who are looking forward to adding them to the new garden.
Congratulations to the residents of Creswick Aged Care for their contribution to this important project.
