Raffle Winners Announced!

Published February 27, 2024

Our Christmas/New Year Raffle winners have received their prizes along with much gratitude for their support of rural health care. Each of our five campuses had its own raffle to support its programs and services and received much support from their local communities. Central Highlands Rural Health staff enjoyed attending markets and events across the region during the campaign and meeting many locals who are passionate about their local health service. The raffles were drawn on 12 February 2024 and all prizes have been distributed with the 3rd prize winners from Clunes Health Raffle and the Trentham Health Raffle generously donating their vouchers back to the organisation.

Central Highlands Rural Health provides acute, urgent care, residential aged care, social support, community nursing and community health services to the approx. 60,000 people living in the Hepburn Shire and Macedon Ranges areas with campuses located in the townships of Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford, Trentham and Kyneton. Each campus has a range of programs that care for the community that they serve.

Rural health services continue to need local support. Although they receive government funding, donations enable them to expand their programs and services, build new infrastructure and purchase the latest medical equipment that would otherwise not be possible. There are many different ways that you can assist your health service to deliver quality care to your community such as donations of funds, vouchers and goods or volunteering to assist with the delivery of Meals on Wheels and other projects. Community contributions have an enormous impact on the wellbeing of a town’s population.

Donation and fundraising enquiries from individuals, community groups and businesses are always welcome. Please contact Kathryn Kosloff, Fundraising Manager, on (03) 5321 6555 or giving@chrh.org.au
