To support the future of Kyneton Health, Troy and Liddy from Wooling Hill Memorial Estate are hosting a charity golf day on Sunday 22 October at Kyneton Golf Club and we would like to invite the community to get involved!
We are seeking teams and sponsors for this important community fundraising event that will have a huge impact on the care and well-being of our patients.
The event will be a mixed four-person Ambrose competition which means golfers of all skill levels will be able to contribute as part of a team. No handicap? No worries! We’ll assign handicaps for the event to those who need them.
For anyone that hits a hole-in-one, there’s a prize of $1,000 thanks to Diamonds from Ashes or Hair | ALGORDANZA™ Australia. The event will also award prizes to the winning team and in-comp game winners as well as a prize for the best-dressed team. So, if you love to dress up, this event is for you!
Central Highlands CEO, Maree Cuddihy, Acting Director of Nursing for Kyneton Health, Sue Whitfield, and event host Troy Upfield were shown around the beautiful course at Kyneton Golf Club by President, Jonathon Beechley and member, Karen O’Sullivan.
Maree Cuddihy said: “We are thrilled that Troy and Liddy from Wooling Hill Memorial Estate are continuing to support Kyneton Health with their fundraising events. It is such a beautiful country golf course at Kyneton Golf Club and we are grateful to the committee for assisting with the day. We hope that many locals and visitors sign up to play or sponsor the charity event.”
Troy Upfield said: “We know how much the Macedon Ranges community love their local health service so we’re hosting this fundraiser to ensure that the hospital has what they need to continue providing amazing care to those in need.”
The Wooling Hill Memorial Estate Golf Day is an opportunity to show your support for rural health care. Kyneton Health cares for people in their homes, in the community and in hospitals. Help us to provide the best care possible to the Kyneton and district community by supporting this event!
