Cancer Survivorship Community Forum in Kyneton

Published January 22, 2026

Central Highlands Rural Health is inviting community members affected by cancer to take part in a local Cancer Survivorship Community Forum in Kyneton.

The forum is open to people living with cancer, cancer survivors, and those supporting a family member or friend. It’s an opportunity to share experiences of accessing cancer services in the Macedon Ranges and help shape how Central Highlands Rural Health can better support people locally.

Feedback from the forum, along with an accompanying community survey, will play a key role in improving cancer support services closer to home and reducing the need for people to travel long distances for care.

Central Highlands Rural Health Chief Executive Officer Maree Cuddihy said listening to the community was essential to strengthening local cancer services.

“This forum is about hearing directly from our community about what’s working, what’s missing, and how we can continue to improve cancer support closer to home. The insights we gather will help us plan services that reduce travel and better meet local needs,” Maree Cuddihy said.
