50 Year Milestone for Margaret Orr

Published November 25, 2024

Today we thanked Margaret Orr for exactly 50 years of service to the Creswick community through her incredible efforts with the Creswick & District Hospital Auxiliary!
Since in 25 November in 1974, Margaret has fundraised for her local health service along with fellow committee members.
Kathryn Kosloff, CHRH's Engagement & Fundraising Manager, said,
"Margaret is an amazing community leader! She quietly gets things done and is an inspiration to others with her dedication and care for others. We can't thank her enough for all that she's achieved over the past 50 years!"
Margaret has been recognised for her contribution to the community with a Citizen of the Year Award, a recent Citizen of the Year nomination where she was a finalist and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Central Highlands Rural Health in 2023.
Please join us in thanking Margaret for all she has done for rural healthcare in Creswick.

The Creswick & District Hospital Auxiliary are continuing their important work with their Christmas raffle. Tickets are available this week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Creswick IGA.
